if you’re really poor, you get great financial aid
if you’re really rich, you can pay for your education no prob
if you’re middle class, you’re too rich for good financial aid and too poor to pay for your college

This is a great article explaining why so many people feel miserable nowadays; the goal that we’re all longing to reach is a myth. And this is something I think about all of the time. It’s impossible to be happy 24/7 (or pet puppies all the time like the article states). We aren’t happy because we don’t understand what happiness is.
